WARRIORS APPOINT JESS SMITH AS GOLDEN STATE'S WNBA TEAM PRESIDENT

The WNBA expansion franchise of the Golden State Warriors has not yet revealed its name, but it has appointed a team president in preparation for its debut season in 2025.

On Tuesday, Jess Smith, a seasoned professional with 18 years of experience in the sports industry, was unveiled as the president of the Golden State WNBA team. She will commence her role on February 14, transitioning from her previous position as head of revenue for the NWSL's Angel City Football Club.
