SSR Case Update: SSR death not a suicide but ‘homicide’ claims Deepak Qazir Kejriwal

Actor Deepak Qazir Kejriwal, a friend of late Sushant Singh Rajput has gone on record to claim that the Bollywood star’s death on June 14 was a ‘homicide’ and not a ‘suicide’.

In an interview with Times Now, Kejriwal shared that he never had a doubt that the actor was murdered. He said that right from the start of the investigation, he maintained that the actor’s death was not a suicide. He went on to explain how he wasn’t convinced with the police’s investigations and how their “quickly” came to a conclusion and ruled the case as a death by suicide.

He also raised questions over the ownership of Sushant’s flat and asked how the titles were changed so easily.

Meanwhile, investigations into the actor’s death are being conducted by the CBI, the Narcotics Control Bureau and even the Enforcement Directorate. While the NCB has taken Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty into custody, the CBI and ED are working together to inspect the financial angle in this case.

On Tuesday, the federal agencies summoned the late actor’s Chartered Accountant for another round of questioning. According to the report, the CA levied allegations against Rhea, saying that she used to control Rajput’s finances.

The CBI is trying to find out if Rhea had any legitimate access to the actor’s finances and to also investigate the extent of control she had on his financial expenditures.

Another report on the news channel also claimed that a team of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) that was entrusted with the SSR case, prepared a conclusive report and a homicide angle could not be ruled out.
