PENINSULA TEACHERS GO ON STRIKE IN WEALTHIEST ZIP CODE IN US

Teachers and other educators in the country's wealthiest ZIP code went on strike Wednesday morning, seeking a "livable wage and fully funded health care," according to the union.

The Las Lomitas Elementary School District, which oversees two schools in Menlo Park and Atherton, and the Las Lomitas Education Association confirmed late Tuesday that the strike was happening.
