JOHN COCKERILL WILL SUPPLY 1.3GW ELECTROLYSER FOR AM GREEN'S KAKINADA GREEN AMMONIA PLANT

AM Green, which is part of Hyderabad-based Greenko Group, on Wednesday said it has placed what is touted as India’s largest electrolyser order with John Cockerill Hydrogen for 1.3GW of advanced pressurized alkaline electroyser for its 1-million tonne green ammonia facility at Kakinada in Andhra Pradesh.

The 1.3 GW of electrolysers will be supplied in two phases of 640MW each for the production of green hydrogen and its subsequent conversion into green ammonia. The Kakinada green ammonia plant is scheduled to start production in the second half of 2026.
