GOVERNMENT APPOINTS INTERIM HEADS OF IOC AND HPCL




The government on Wednesday appointed acting chiefs of Indian Oil and Hindustan Petroleum. IndianOil director (marketing) Satish Kumar V will take over the company’s reigns on September 1 from S M Vaidya who superannuates after an extended tenure on August 31.

In HPCL, director (finance) Rajneesh Narang will take the baton from Pushp Kumar Joshi. In both cases, government headhunter PESB did not find any suitable candidates for the top job and the process to find full-time heads through search committees is ongoing.
