DELHI GOVT WILL INTRODUCE BILL FOR STRAY COW CONSERVATION AND PROTECTION

Urban Development Minister Ashish Sood announced on Friday that the BJP government will soon introduce a bill in the assembly aimed at the conservation and protection of stray cows in the city.
"We will bring a law for cow conservation and protection after thorough deliberations, ensuring clarity between various departments. We will also study relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita to incorporate them into the new law," Sood stated in response to a discussion on a private member's resolution moved by BJP's Model Town MLA Ashok Goel. Goel had urged the government to establish more shelters for cows and improve the maintenance of the existing ones.
