CIVILIANS KILLED IN AIRSTRIKES IN SYRIA
The situation in Syria is getting worse day by day. An onslaught by the Syrian government and its allies has killed about 100 civilians since Sunday in the suburbs of the country's capital, Damascus, according to a U.K.-based monitoring group and a consortium of aid groups. The groups say the aerial bombardment has targeted a rebel-held region known as eastern Gouta, smashing parts of at least five hospitals and leaving more than 500 people wounded.
