SYRIAN BOMBING KILLS CHILDREN
A barrel bombing in Aleppo left several children dead and still others with emotional and physical scars that may never heal. A video shows two boys clinging to each other, while one weeps, lamenting the loss of his brother. The Observatory for Human Rights, a UK organization, reported a death toll of 15 people, 11 of them children. The barrel bomb, a fairly common tactic in this civil war, came just as Russia reached an agreement for a 48 hour ceasefire. Daraya, a city south of Aleppo, has become so torn by barrel bombs and mortar that the residents needed to evacuate.
