A cornerstone of GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump has been his vast financial successes, and specifically, the billions of dollars that he has made. However, an analysis of Trump’s casinos’ corporate filings by CNNMoney revealed that the casino posted losses every year since its inception. Despite raising nearly $140 million from public investors, Trump Hotels & Casino Resorts declared bankruptcy just 10 years later. Further analysis showed that $18.5 million of Trump’s income came from the company he controlled paying him to use things that he owned, such as his name and private jet.
