Eighteen year old Gabriella Taylor was forced to withdraw from the quarter-finals of the junior girl’s Wimbledon tournament due to reasons still unknown. She has been in intensive care and doctors are still trying to determine the cause of illness. Metropolitan police are acting on suspicions that Taylor was deliberately poisoned. While they do not know where or when this poison would have been ingested by the British tennis player, they do know that she fell sick on July 6. Taylor has been active on Twitter regarding the issue, clarifying that it was a virus and not food poisoning.
