With a net worth of $555 billion and stock trading at an all time high of $813 per share of Google’s parent company, Alphabet, the online search engine is coming into its true nature of a technological behemoth. The only company more valuable than Google at the moment is Apple, valued at $586 billion. Despite this latest moonshot, Google still ranks third in terms of growth among the FANG of four (Facebook, Amazon, Netflix, and Google). Amazon and Facebook are up 15% and 20%, respectively, while Google, or Alphabet is up just 4%. Netflix is the only one showing negative, down 20%.
