DELTA’S STRUGGLES CONTINUE

After a power outage on Monday forced them to ground several hundred flights, Delta Airlines thought that the trouble would be temporary. However, on Wednesday, it became clear that Delta’s problems were not going to go away anytime soon. Delta spokespeople attributed the mass grounding of flights to the attendants being overrun with duties following the outage. This struggle that Delta is having is not indicative of who they really are, says Delta CEO Ed Bastian. After years of building up name and reputation, these last three days have been hurtful to the airline.
