KENNEDY: TAKE THE HIGH PATH AGAINST TRUMP
Former Rhode Island Congressman Patrick Kennedy took to the op-ed section on Monday in order to get an important point across: we cannot keep calling Donald Trump crazy. Kennedy’s reasoning is based on his experience as a mental health advocate and survivor of various mental health issues. He says that calling the GOP nominee crazy lessens the suffering of those who genuinely suffer from mental illness. As he puts it, we need to “eliminate the name-calling and grade-school bullying” and, like Michelle Obama emphasized in her speech, take the high road.
