NORTH KOREAN MISSILE LANDS NEAR JAPAN
North Korea has made its way back onto the world stage with yet another missile test. This latest test is another blatant defiance of the United Nations Security Council resolutions. A Japanese defense official said that tensions between the two countries are extremely high and this recent launch, in which the missile landed in Japan’s economic exclusion zone, has stretched nerves to the breaking point. Along with the U.S. State Department, the Japanese Prime Minister condemned the launch, saying that Japan’s self-defense forces would remain on alert.
