Sunrisers Hyderabad managed to beat Gujarat Lions in the Qualifier 2 match in Delhi today, in the Indian Premier League. Captain David Warner was the star performer for the Sunrisers Hyderabad, scorching an unbeaten 93 off 58 balls to help his team cross the finishing line in the last over of the match. Yuvraj Singh failed again miserably in a clear indication that he is approaching the end of his playing career, unfulfilled in Test cricket but quite remarkable in ODIs. Bipul Sharma played the ideal partner's role to David Warner, cutting loose when it was most required, pummeling an unbeaten 27 off 11 balls, with three hits into the crowd. Earlier in the day, the Gujarat Lions managed to post a not-so-convincing total of 162 for seven wickets after being asked to bat first. Aaron Finch compiled a well made 50 off 32 balls but none of the other batsmen clicked, resulting in the below-par total which ultimately resulted in the Gujarat Lions losing the match.
