IPL 2016: SEASON 9

Another day in the office for Virat Kohli and yet another match winning performance from the genius. The Delhi Daredevils put up a pathetic show of batting and lost their match against the Royal Challengers Bangalore at Raipur today, in the 56th match of the Indian Premier League. Put in to bat first after losing the toss, the Delhi Daredevils never got going, struggled throughout their innings and completed their 20 overs of batting, putting on only 138. Quinton de Kock battled his way to 60 off 52 balls but received very little support from his teammates. No team with 138 on the board can reasonably hope to win a match when you are playing against Virat Kohli. The Royal Challengers lost big hitters Chris Gayle and AB de Villiers early to some poor shot selection but Virat Kohli took it upon himself like he always does, and with some help from Lokesh Rahul who blazed away to 38 off 23 balls, took the Royal Challengers Bangalore to a win with a well compiled, a typical Test match type of innings, finishing on an unbeaten 54 off 45 balls, and with nearly two overs to spare.
