IPL 2016: SEASON 9

In the 12th match of the Indian Premier League tournament, Sunrisers Hyderabad registered an easy victory against Mumbai Indians in Hyderabad today, winning by seven wickets with 15 balls to spare. Put in to bat by the Sunrisers, Mumbai Indians had early setbacks losing openers Martin Guptill and Parthiv Patel with no worthwhile contribution from either of them, and things only got worse for them following the run out of their captain Rohit Sharma who played the ball to short cover and tried to take an impossible single but could not return to his crease in time. Krunal Pandya and Ambati Rayudu staged a minor recovery, putting on 63 for the fifth wicket but they were left with too much to do after the early damage, ending with 142 for six wickets. Chasing 143 to win, David Warner flayed McClenaghan, Bumrah and Harbhajan and was unstoppable in compiling an unbeaten 90 off 59 balls with four sixes and literally took his team to victory all on his own, as the Sunrisers Hyderabad cantered to victory in the 18th over.
