Ethan Couch, better known as the ‘Affluenza’ teen, was ordered by a Texas judge to serve two years jail time. The jail time was given tentatively as an extension of Couch’s probation in 2013. The teen was detained after an offense of drunk driving led to four deaths and two serious injuries. He has been on probation since December 2013, but violated it when he fled with his mother, Tonya Couch, to Mexico. Mexican authorities found and arrested the pair, holding them until they got back to the United States. However, the Tarrant County judge who ordered the jail time is giving the defense two weeks to come up with substantial reason to reverse the order.
