Recent reports from from the U.S. Energy Information Administration show that the United States has pumped out over 9 million barrels. Oversupply has been killing the global oil market, and the United States’ resilient oil boom has not helped. Production has dropped a mere 0.6% from 2015, which has not helped in stopping the oil glut that dropped crude oil by 75%.

STARBUCKS PLANS TO OPEN BIGGEST STORE IN HISTORY

The San Francisco Board of Supervisors passed a measure on Tuesday that guaranteed six weeks of parental leave to new parents. The bill requires employers to make sure that the parents are paid their full wage during their time off. Previously, employees avoided taking time off due to the danger of losing their jobs when they got back. However, this measure guarantees that employees will get their original job back.
